Sex and The City 2 screening, Electric Bar, Notting Hill
The Cosmos were lined at the bar, cupcakes stacked on the tables, and some of London’s most fashionable were in attendance – it had to be a Sex and the City screening party. I was one of the 100 lucky people invited to a secretsales.com party, held at the Electric Cinema on Portobello Road.
The Setting was perfect, as we congregated on the top floor’s stylish bar, which provided a London meets New York fusion. Nibbles for the evening included cupcakes and mini fish & chip or bangers & mash – which were particularly tasty. I’d never been to this cinema before, and must say I was incredibly impressed by the luxurious and stylish interior. There were floor to ceiling mirrors and red velvet seating spreading the length of the room - if the SATC girls ever come to London for a third instalment, they would certainly fit in here! Even though we weren’t in Abu Dhabi, it was incredibly hot, with the room filled with excited fashionistas eager to see the number one movie of the moment.
