To celebrate InStyle magazine’s 10th anniversary, the fashion bible hosted a fabulous party at the Sanctum Soho Hotel which had been renamed ‘Instyle Hotel’ for the evening.
In honour of the magazine’s 10 years supporting fashion and beauty, the event also saw the premiere of a series of 8 specially commissioned fashion films from designers including Roberto Cavalli, Christian Louboutin and Diane Von Furstenberg, which were screened in the media room downstairs.
We chatted to fashion icon Christian Louboutin about his short film, which featured a beautiful young model who dreams of finding some magical shoes.
Contestants from the current series of the X Factor were there in full force, including the girls from Little Mix, who were still excited about their recent performance of EnVogue’s ‘Don’t Let Go’ on a recent episode.
Misha B was really lovely to chat to and was talking about the roller coaster of emotions she experienced by being on the show.
Russell Tovey, ever the charmer, is always so pleasant to talk to. He is thrilled that the second series of Him and Her is doing so well on BBC3, and said that he’d had so much fun filming with such an amazing cast.
One of the nicest people we chatted to was Millie Mackintosh from Made in Chelsea (main photo), who spoke to us about the wonderful platform which the show offers her. She also spoke about how hard it was to go through a breakup on TV, but how she was glad to be able to show a little more of her personality as events naturally occurred. We fell in love with her and her fabulous lynx stole, which had been handed down to her from her grandmother.
Dionne Bromfield performed some of her best known hits for the crowd. She said she was also looking forward to her performance in Hyde park on Wednesday.
T4 presenter Jameela Jamil provided musical entertainment from the DJ booth, and we sipped on gin cocktails as we danced into the evening. What a night!
