Braun Sound of Fashion Event with Daisy Lowe, The Hospital Club

I had a wonderful time at the Braun event last night, held in the glamorous Hospital Club in Covent Garden. On arrival I was greeted with a glass of Veuve and a high end fashion and hair show.

Daisy Lowe provided the beats as guest DJ. Before getting started she spoke about her fashion influences which included one of my personal favourites, Helena Bonham Carter, as someone who didn’t follow trends and dressed for themselves.

The team at Hill and Knowlton are really the best in the business when it comes to throwing a beauty launch party. The new product in question, the Braun Silk-épil 7 Dual Epilator, is designed to combine the best of epilation and shaving. To reflect a similar combination, Daisy Lowe showcased a combination of her two biggest passions, fashion and music, with a night of DJ sets and catwalk shows at the chic Hospital Club in London. Daisy said “The two things I love in life are fashion and music – whether it’s modelling, designing or DJ-ing and going to see great live bands with friends. When fashion and music combine, like at the Braun ‘Sound of Fashion’ event, it creates something exciting and I’m really pleased to be involved.”

After a nail-biting raffle with a top prize of £500 worth of clothes and makeovers, top Kiss FM DJ Neev rounded off the evening by playing vintage Madonna tracks including Holiday and Lucky Star. Such a fun evening, and wonderful, upbeat crowd.
